Course Delivery Description

The NIST Cybersecurity Framework Foundation certification training class is a five-hour self-paced video training program that includes courseware, a body of knowledge publication, sample exams, an exam voucher, a certificate of completion, and a certification badge upon completing the certification exam. The course introduces IT, Cybersecurity, and Business Professionals to the Fundamentals of a NIST Cybersecurity Framework and its role in helping organisations of any size scale or complexity manage their cyber risk and the DVMS Institute’s DVMS CPD Model to help those same organisations manage their organisational cyber resilience.
The NIST Cybersecurity Framework 800-53 Practitioner certification training class is a sixteen-hour self-paced video training program plus three days of online instructor-led review sessions that includes courseware, a body of knowledge publication, sample exams, an exam voucher (implementer or auditor), a certificate of completion, and a certification badge upon completing the certification exam. The DVMS NIST Cybersecurity Framework 800-53 Practitioner certification course teaches business and IT professionals how to assess, design, implement, operationalise, audit, and continually innovate a cyber risk and resilience management program based on the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and the DVMS Institute DVMS CPD Model.
The ITSM Essentials certification training class is a two-day online Instructor-Led program that includes courseware, a body of knowledge publication, sample exams, an exam voucher, and a certification badge upon completing the certification exam. The course is designed to teach candidates the fundamentals of IT services and the operational practices required to ensure they are optimised for cost, quality, and compliance with cybersecurity and other industry regulations.
The Critical Communications Capability Incident Response certification training class is a five-hour self-paced video training program that includes courseware, a body of knowledge publication, sample exams, an exam voucher, a certificate of completion, and a certification badge upon completing the certification exam. The Critical Communication Capability® certified course introduces business and IT professionals to intelligent, effective, and coordinated communications in a crisis. It provides a model to understand terminology and best practices to improve skills and performance when responding to critical communication situations.

Here’s how the training bundle works:

Candidates will have access to their own online learning portal to work through their NIST Foundation and CCC course. Candidate access is valid for 12-months from date of payment.

The NIST Practitioner course has 16-hours that is completed self-paced and 3-days of instructor-led training. Candidates must complete their NIST Foundation prior to commencing the Practitioner course. The instructor-led course will be available at the end of each month, dates will run depending on class numbers.

Candidates can attend our instructor-led ITSM Essentials course, delivered in our virtual classroom over 2-days. Course dates will be delivered once minimum candidate numbers are achieved which are scheduled at the end of each month.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites to purchase our NIST-CSF Practitioner training bundle. Candidates must complete and achieve their NIST Cybersecurity Framework Foundation course and exam prior to commencing the Practitioner course.

NIST Cybersecurity Foundation course prepares you for the exam which is administered by APMG International. An exam voucher will be provided to you on the first day of your course access.

NIST Cybersecurity Practitioner course prepares you for the open-book exam leading to the 800-53 Practitioner Certification. This exam is administered by APMG International.

DVMS Institute - NIST Cybersecurity Framework – Implementer exam evaluates one’s knowledge of operationalising a NIST Cybersecurity Framework program that is fit for use within an organisation and is in alignment with organisational strategic policies.
DVMS Institute - NIST Cybersecurity Framework – Auditor exam evaluates one’s knowledge of ensuring that a NIST Cybersecurity Framework program delivers the desired business and regulatory outcomes expected by executive leadership and government regulators.

The ITSM Essentials course includes the integratedITSM Essentials exam which is offered through Professional Designations (PDC) and to obtain certification, attendees must write and pass the exam as follows. The exam is included in the course fee and will be provided on the first day of the course.
